About

Hi I’m Kelly.

I’m a (deep breath), trainer, nutritionist, chef and CBT practitioner in Boston. I work with an extremely broad range of clients from professional athletes, to couples leading up to their big day and expecting Moms, to my own Mom. I coach 1 on 1, teach cooking classes, corporate seminars, and offer easy-to-follow online programs that you can do on your own watch from anywhere.

My ideal clients are 10/10 committed to the process, meaning you are “all in”. Loving food and restaurants is an added bonus.

While I understand we do not all live in Boston, all of my programs are designed to deliver results regardless of your location, age or skill level.

Keep in mind, this is not a one-sided relationship! If you want the best results possible then we will need to:

  • Show up This means we do NOT need to be the best OR perfect but for this to work, we need to be and stay engaged!
  • Have Accountability Be careful what you wish for. In coaching, we create approachable timelines, strategies, and tools and get sh*t done!
  • Gain Efficiency My programs are designed pragmatically. While we can spend hours in the gym or kitchen, I imagine, this is is not what you or I hope for.
  • Have Fun If we hate it,  we won’t do it. This is a team effort. While I’m pretty good at making training fun, you’re not hurting my feelings IN THE SLIGHTEST if I’ve missed the mark. We'll make it werrrk!
  • Own our “Why If it’s to ‘get abs’ or ‘fit into a dress’, I believe you however this physical goal will fluctuate, waver, and we will not sustainably succeed. It’s important to know what grounds us and what pushes us. To me, fitness and food is a way to honor and celebrate the life we’ve been given. It’s humbling and teaches us lessons. It doesn’t have to be physical all the time. Invest time in self compassion and investigate your “why”!

More about me (ideally narrated by Morgan Freeman)

Certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, NASM, PN and StrongFIrst, Kelly has helped thousands of people achieve their fitness goals as one of the East Coast’s most sought after personal trainers. As a retired NPC and ANBF figure competitor, and celebrated college athlete across many arenas, Kelly steers her energy away from the spotlight and into mastering day-to-day balance.

Kelly's credibility in fitness is matched in the culinary industry. A graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Kelly has worked at some of the country's most prestigious culinary institutions. Kelly tested and related successful recipes for America's Test Kitchen, cooked at Alex Guarnascelli and Jose Garces restaurants, served as a Chef Instructor at Viking Culinary School, and was a contributor to America's Test Kitchen Gluten-Free and Paleo Cookbooks and now contributes to Purple Carrot, Tom Brady's plant-based meal delivery service.

Kelly would describe her training as the “unsexy”. It is a no short-cut approach that requires engagement and a practice in the seemingly mundane that in larger scope accumulates in huge strides. If any of the following resonate, she’d love to work with you!

  • Want to see change once and for all
  • Are an athlete training for an event
  • Are not an athlete and do not have an event
  • LOVE food but struggle with balance
  • Tired of dieting
  • Want more energy
  • Feel obsessed with food
  • Feel confused with nutrition
  • Feel intimidated by strength training
  • Feel intimidated by specific  forms of training (strength/(yoga/ cardio)
  • Need a exercise program makeover (bored of your routine)
  • Not seeing results (feeling discouraged)
  • Injured (Let’s rehab and prevent others!)
  • Need accountability/ motivation (We all do!)
  • It’s more fun to train with a trainer (Amen to that!)
