Why your weight is a lie Post-Holidays

Holiday Tip: Don’t weigh yourself during the Holidays. 

For one it takes much longer to gain 3-8 lbs of fat so any number you see on the scale will not accurately represent biomechanics. The body is smart. We’ve all eaten outside our regular day-to-day. Our cells are swollen, energies are being transferred. Just like with Venmo- sometimes it takes days for cash to hit our account. Our metabolism needs time to process too. 

 

So what should we do? FOCUS ON THE PROCESS NOT THE RESULT. 

 

Weight is a result not a process. Drinking water, lifting weights, upping veggies, this is a better use of our time than stepping on and off a scale hoping to see changing. DO the thing, don’t hope for it!
