Supplements by definitionĀ are something that completes or enhances something else when it is added to it. So already this sounds appealing. Who wouldn't want 'enhanced' anything? Vitamin Supplements pertain to MICROnurtients. Does this word ring a bell for anyone? š
There are two types of nutrients: Micro & Macro. Micronutrients are vitamins and minerals. Micro do not yield calories butĀ doĀ have aĀ hugeĀ relationship facilitating hormones that regulate MACROnutrients (proteins, carbs, & fats). Coach Kelly does this mean even if I Ā eat a well-balanced Ā diet, IĀ stillĀ might be low on a specific micronutrient and this can affect otherĀ relationships in the body such as Ā metabolism, thyroid health, neurotransmitter responses, and overall body mechanics?

With this said, what is the best thing to do? To start, aĀ simple a MULTI-vitaminĀ no matter what age, or how healthy or un-healthy you are is the best base!

There is ZERO harm in taking one, ONLY benefits. Seems like a no-brainer, right? ------Especially during these times when lifestyles are severely altered (exercise programs/ working from home/ wonky diets -- more to be addressed in Tuesday's seminar).Ā

Here's the secret about vitamins, YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE VITAMIN!Ā Studies show that even by just taking the vitamin daily improves overall health because these people are partaking in positive self-care practice (daily). Placebo or not, it benefits health!
