Post-Workout Pasta

Post-Workout Pasta
Please don't hate me but I'm not the biggest pasta-person! I rather indulge in pizza or pastries when it comes to carbs but every now and then and especially on MetCon (metabolic conditioning) days, I love celebrating with this post-workout pasta dish. It's delish, salty, toothy, and still gets the greens in so you don't feel lethargic and bloated and baffled by all you just ate.
Big thanks to Banza pasta too for making a delicious garbanzo bean substitute that does not leave you feeling deprived in the slightest.
Ingredients:
Chicken Broth
Banza spiraled pasta
3-4 C Spinach
Mozzarella (the good stuff)- or Buffalo Cheese (to your liking)
1-2 oz Shafed Parmesan
Steps:
1. Cook your pasta in the broth (or heavily salted water). Drain. Reserve 1/4C or liquid.
2. IMMEDIATELY add spinach to al dente pasta and cover. Remove lid and add cheeses.
3. Upgrade this dish or make it breakfast by adding sunny side up eggs!
ENJOY:)
